The money raised at the GLOBE Auction funds: the International Festival, the Summer Picnic, Science Night, Black History Month, Screen on the Green, the Book Fair, Field Day, Chinese New Year Festivities, Spanish Heritage Festivities, Francophile Festivities, Teacher Appreciation Week, staff holiday and end-of-year gifts, Wonderful Wednesdays staff appreciation, mini-grants for classroom needs and staff continuing education, start of school classroom support, teacher’s lounge improvements, grounds upkeep support, room parent support, plus other needs as requested and able.
All Silent Auction bidding occurs through the website simultaneously and in real time. The website is accessible via a personal computer or a mobile device. Bidders who register with a cell phone number will be notified via text when outbid. The Silent Auction includes everything in the catalog EXCEPT Classroom Art and Carpool Flags. LIVE Auction bidding takes place in person the old-fashioned way – with bid paddles! It includes Classroom Art Projects and the Carpool Flags. If you are not able to be at the LIVE Auction in person, send a proxy!
Yes! And, many of the items will be on display at the venue for people to see in person. The Silent Auction will close at 8:00 PM while the Live Auction is happening.
Raffle items can be added to your cart during bidding and paid for at the end of the Auction with other winnings. Raffle winners will be drawn LIVE on the GLOBE PTCC Facebook page at the end of the Auction. You do not have to be watching or in attendance to win. Winners will receive a confirmation email.
Many of our fantastic GLOBE teachers, faculty, and staff generously donate creative excursions or special event time to the Auction. These are hot items that become lasting memories for the winners!
Each year, the GLOBE Auction includes a special Fund-A-Project as part of the event. Follow the GLOBE PTCC Facebook page for more details.
Each year, GLOBE classes and parent volunteers brainstorm, design, and execute a collaborative art project that is sold at the Auction. Past projects have included hand painted furniture, oversized lawn games, student photography, and mixed media art pieces.
GLOBE Perks are items that make busy parenting much easier. They include reserved front row seats to performances and priority parking options at both campuses.
A carpool flag allows the flag bearer to politely "cut" in line in morning and afternoon carpools. It’s simple to use. Wave it out the window, and you are next to move into the line!

When the Auction ends, an itemized list of winnings and donations along with a payment link will be automatically emailed to the email address on file. International transactions are accepted; associated fees will be the responsibility of the bidder/purchaser.
Winnings that include an electronic certificate will be emailed to the email address on file. If attending the LIVE Auction, pick up all physical items (Silent and Live) on-site before leaving the event. If participating virtually, physical items must be picked up Sunday, March 24, between 2:00–6:00 pm at 2833 Northbrook Drive, Atlanta, GA 30340. For extenuating circumstances, email [email protected]. Items not picked up by the last day of school and that haven't been coordinated via the aforementioned email will be forfeited without the possibility of a refund.
