Description:
Students will make Chinese dumplings with Tsao Laoshi and Liang Laoshi by making the dumpling wrappers with flour and water. Students will learn how to make fillings for dumplings and how to wrap them up. In the end, we will boil dumplings and eat them together. It will take about 1.5 hours. Teachers will bring cooking tools and vegetables. Parents can provide flour, salt, oil, black pepper, and ground pork. Please note, the fillings will have pork, vegetables, salt, oil, soy sauce, and black peppers.
This will take place in the 3rd Grade Mandarin Classroom, on any day between 3:30 and 5 pm except 4/15/2024. Winners may select 2 friends and 2 parents may join the activity.
